Identity Verification

You will see the button Start Identity Verification. By clicking on that you will be redirected to the 3rd party automated verification website

Please make your IDs handy before clicking on "Start Identity Verification".

If you are a desktop user, it is highly recommended to continue on your mobile device as it has a better experience and result. You can easily click on Show QR Code and then scan on your mobile phone.

If your mobile phone is not handy, you can still continue on your desktop computer.

You will be required to choose your country and a preferred ID type. For Aussie users, the best ID is your driver's license. However, you have your passport and other options as well.

Also for Proof of Residence – The following documents are acceptable documents:

A bank account statement.
A utility bill (electricity, water, internet, etc.).
A government-issued document (tax statement, certificate of residency, etc.).

It usually take a few minutes for your IDs to be verified. You will receive an email about the result.

How to activate 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)?

For better account security, we strongly recommend that you enable your OTP, also known as two-factor authentication 2FA on your Bitunivex account.

To do so, simply:

Log into your Bitunivex account
Navigate to the Security section.
Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"

To use an OTP, you need to install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile phone.

After installation of Google Authenticator:

Open the app, use “Add New Account", which is usually displayed with a "+" sign.
Add your new OTP by scanning the QR code as shown in the platform or by entering the code manually.
You need to enter the OTP after scanning or entering the code for the first time to verify.

Your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) code under manual can be recorded for self-recovery for your OTP or/and can be used if you can't scan the QR code with your Google Authenticator app. Keep your OTP safe as it will be used for sensitive actions on your Bitunivex account.

The account level/tier on Bitunivex defines the category of your deposit/withdrawal limits and fee structure inside the exchange platform.

There are 5 levels, which are basically defined based on trading fees, deposits, and withdrawal limits. For detailed fee structure, head to Fees and Limits.

Level 1 - TYRO

Level 2 - TRADER

Level 3 - PRO TRADER

Level 4 - VIP TRADER

Level 5 - MARKET MAKER

When you log in to Bitunivex exchange, you will land on the Summary page. Scroll through the page end, there in the Account Details section, you will see the account level you are in.

Level 1 - TYRO

When you signup for a free account on Bitunivex, you will be categorized as Level 1.

Upon verification of your account, you will be automatically upgraded to Level 2 customers. To do so, the following verifications is required:

How to withdraw crypto to an external wallet address?

Instructions to withdraw assets.

Then hit withdraw against the crypto asset you are interested to withdraw.
Window is open with details to be entered.
Enter the destination address of the receiver (this is generated when the receiver creates wallet for the particular asset). Please refer the article for more information on creating a wallet ***
Then enter the amount to withdraw.
Click on 'Review Withdrawal'
The dialogue box will be open to confirm the details you entered.
Click 'Confirm' to proceed.
